Terms & conditions.
The terms on which this site is made available to you.

About these terms
By using DepressionDiet.co.uk you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.
The publisher's legal name, trading status and registered or trading address are not filled in yet, and nor is a contact email address. They are marked rather than invented, and must be completed before the site goes live or anything is sold.
Nothing here is medical advice
This site provides general health education only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or personal dietary advice. No diet described here is a treatment for depression. Do not stop, start or change any prescribed medication — including antidepressants — on the basis of anything you read here. See the Legal Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
Nothing is for sale yet
Two products are in preparation: The Depression Diet Guidebook at a planned price of £27, and The Depression Diet Online Course at a planned price of £47. Neither exists yet, neither can be bought, there is no checkout on this site and no orders or payments of any kind are being taken. Any price shown is a planned price and may change before launch. No launch date has been set.
They are separate products, bought separately. The £47 course does not include the £27 guidebook.
What is being sold, when it is
These products are education. What they describe is an emerging research area and a way of eating, together with how to discuss both with a doctor. They are not a treatment for depression, they are not a substitute for medical care, and no claim is made or implied that buying either will change how you feel. No outcome of any kind is promised, because none could honestly be.
If and when they go on sale
Terms of sale will be published before any payment can be taken, and will cover at least the following, as UK consumer law requires:
- the price including VAT, and what exactly is supplied;
- how and when the download or course access is delivered;
- the 14-day right to cancel that applies to digital content under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and the fact that this right is lost once you agree to immediate access and acknowledge that loss;
- your rights if the content is faulty or not as described, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015;
- how to complain and how to get a refund.
Use of the site
You may read, print and share pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, sell or systematically copy the content, or present it as your own, without permission. All content and design on this site is the publisher's intellectual property unless stated otherwise.
Availability
The site is provided as it is and as available. No guarantee is given that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and it may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
External links
Links to third-party sites, including the NHS, NICE, Mind, the Samaritans and the British Dietetic Association, are provided for reference only. This site does not control them, is not responsible for their content, and the links do not imply that those organisations endorse this site.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for loss or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on its content. Nothing here excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Nothing on this page is legal advice. Have these terms reviewed by a solicitor before trading.
