Corrections and questions about the site are welcome. Questions about your own health are not something this site can answer.

What we can help with

Anything about the site itself: a factual error, a broken link, a page that reads as a stronger claim than the evidence supports, a study summarised unfairly, or an accessibility problem. Corrections are genuinely wanted and will be made.

What we cannot help with

We cannot answer questions about your own health, your symptoms, your medication or your diet. Doing so would be giving medical advice, which this site is not qualified or permitted to do — and a stranger who does not know your history is the wrong person to ask.

  • For your mood or your treatment: your GP, or in England you can refer yourself directly to NHS talking therapies.
  • For individual dietary advice: ask your GP to refer you to a registered dietitian.
  • For medication questions: the prescriber or a pharmacist. Never change a dose on the strength of a website.
  • If you need to talk now: the Samaritans, free and open at any hour, on 116 123.

Email

A contact email address has not been set up yet. This is marked rather than invented, because publishing an address that does not receive mail is worse than publishing none. Once a mailbox exists it goes here, in the privacy policy and in the terms.
