Privacy policy.
What this site collects about you. The answer is nothing.
Last updated 25 October 2026.
The short version
This site sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics, carries no advertising and no affiliate links, and collects no personal data from you. There is no contact form, no signup form and no mailing list. There is nothing on this site for you to submit.
Why it is built that way
People reading a site about depression have a reasonable expectation that their visit is not being catalogued. Health information is special category data under UK GDPR, and the pages you read on a site like this one would reveal something about your health. The simplest way to protect that is not to collect it, which is the approach taken here — and it is a much easier promise to keep than a signup form that would need a lawful basis, a privacy notice and a way to unsubscribe.
Who is responsible
The publisher's name, trading address and contact email are not filled in yet. They are marked rather than invented. UK GDPR requires a data controller to identify itself, so these must be completed before the site goes live.
Cookies
No cookies are set by this site for analytics, advertising or tracking, and there is therefore no cookie banner. Your browser may store ordinary technical information of its own, such as a cached copy of a page, which this site neither controls nor reads.
Server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data — IP address, the page requested, user agent, timestamp — in order to deliver pages and protect against abuse. This is handled by Cloudflare as part of hosting; it is not used to build a profile of you, it is not combined with anything else, and it is not sold or shared for marketing.
If you email us
Once a contact address exists, anything you send will be used only to reply to you and will be kept no longer than necessary. Please do not send details of your health, your medication or your symptoms: this site cannot give advice about them, and it is not set up to hold that kind of information.
If products go on sale
Nothing is for sale at present and no payments are being taken. If that changes, this policy will be updated in the same change to explain what a payment provider processes, what is kept and for how long.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children. No data is knowingly collected from anybody.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Since no personal data is collected, there is in practice nothing held about you to exercise those rights over. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated.
Nothing on this page is legal advice. Have this policy reviewed by a solicitor before trading.
